“No threats were made. School security and officers are currently checking for the male,” New Haven police posted on the social media platform X.

According to school officials, Fair Haven School was on lockdown as a precaution. The lockdown was lifted by 12:50 p.m.

The man was later identified as a parent. They will not be facing charges, according to an official.
