EDGERTON, Kan. (KCTV) - Saturday’s weather provided the perfect setting for picking strawberries in the Kansas City area. Since 2001, Gieringer’s Family Farm in Edgerton, Kan., has grown into a destination for all kinds of berry picking. In May, strawberries are back in season. So to begin strawberry picking season the farm held a pancake breakfast to kick things off.
