Emergency bridge closure causes indefinite traffic detour
On Oct. 30, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced the eastern bridge on FM 3002 over Lake Ray Roberts will be closed until further notice. TxDOT underwater bridge inspectors found damage to one of the columns on the structure last week. They closed the bridge and put a detour in place to move traffic around the bridge.

DART Marks One Year of the Silver Line

The 26-mile regional rail line opened on October 25, 2025, linking Addison, Carrollton, Coppell, Dallas, Grapevine, Plano, and Richardson with one another and with DFW International Airport.
