The Dimmitt Bobcats were defeated by the Brownfield Cubs, 47-29. Dimmitt came in with 11 first downs, 91 passing yards, 84 passing yards and five penalties for 35 yards. Amarillo TTUHSC researchers receive $1.47 million grant to address preeclampsia rates
AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center researchers in Amarillo have received a grant to address preeclampsia rates in the Panhandle. The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute at the National Institutes of Health awarded a two-year, $1.47 million grant to a local research coalition led by Dr. Christine Garner, assistant vice president for research and an assistant professor for the Department of Pediatrics, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the InfantRisk Center.

Naz Vet Science at Tri-State
The Nazareth FFA vet science team competed at the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo and came in with a team second place. Grace White was high point overall, with Michael Fulkerson placing seventh and Addie Schulte placing 10th . Harper Johnson also competed with the team. Others competing in the Shorthorn heifer open show were Izzy Heck ,who won third place, and Will Young, third place in the Shorthorn Plus heifers.
