It’s hard to read that as anything but a recognition that foie gras isn’t something they can credibly call humane. Having reached that conclusion, they should cancel the dinner. Our letter also asks them to notify guests who booked on the strength of the original ad, and we’re still waiting on a written response by 5pm Monday.”
