Police chase stolen car through Hillsboro
Many in Hillsboro began their morning hearing sirens on Monday, May 13. According to a press release from the Hillsboro Police Department, at 6:10 a.m. a Hillsboro Police Officer was taking a vehicle theft report at 306 N. Birch from Quadaloupe Sosme who reported that her 2013 GMC Terrain had been stolen overnight.

Class 4A Baseball and Softball Regional Brackets
Class 4A Regional’s in baseball and softball begin this week with a few games scheduled for today, but most are slated for Tuesday and Wednesday. Abilene baseball is the number one overall seed in the West and will host number 16 seed Winfield Tuesday at Ted Power Field. This game will be played after number eight Mulvane (16-9) versus number nine Lyons (14-8) which begins at 2 p.m. Chapman (12-10) drew the thirteenth seed and will play number four McPherson at McPherson on Tuesday afternoon.
