    VTA employee hit by arrow in San Jose

    (SAN JOSE, Calif.) Authorities are searching for the person who shot an arrow into the back of a VTA employee walking in a San Jose neighborhood on Tuesday.

    According to KPIX 5, the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Sierra Grande Way at South Capitol Avenue.

    The worker was taking a walk during his break when he was impaled with an arrow, according to the Santa Clara County Sherriff’s office.

    He was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition, according to NBC Bay Area.

    The incident is currently under investigation. Anyone with information can contact the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office at (408) 808-4500.
