(SAN FRANCISCO) In the month of March, the San Francisco Department of Public Health cited 22 businesses for violating coronavirus health orders.

The investigative team at ABC 7 reported 95% of these businesses were cited multiple times for allowing large crowds indoors and outdoors, lack of social distancing and face coverings or serving alcohol without a meal.

Most of these businesses are located in the Marina, North Beach and Mission districts.

Over the past seven months 1,414 notices of violations were issued to restaurants, bars and other food facilities across the city.

The Department of Public Health said health complaints are down from 90 per week at the beginning of the pandemic to 15 per week now.

Any complaints about health order violations can be filed at the department's Environmental Health Branch or by dialing 3-1-1 to report the situation.
