Ole Miss softball pitcher Catelyn Riley enters NCAA transfer portal
Ole Miss pitcher Catelyn Riley has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Riley spent three seasons in Oxford. She compiled a 4-7 record with 2.81 earned run average this season. She struck out 52 in 79.2 innings pitched. Riley was the starting pitcher last Saturday in the Rebels' loss to Princeton that eliminated them from the NCAA Tournament.

Taylorsville speeds past Pine Grove in Game 3
PEARL – Pine Grove’s Game 3 magic finally ran out on Saturday. Taylorsville jumped out to a 5-0 lead, and the Panthers couldn’t dig their way out of the hole in an 11-4 loss in Game 3 of the MHSAA Class 1A finals at Trustmark Park. A four-run sixth inning for Taylorsville ended any hopes of a late comeback.

HOOVER, Ala. (WTVA) - The Mississippi State Bulldogs beat the Ole Miss Rebels in the last game of the first round of the SEC Tournament. Mississippi State won the game 2-1. Mississippi State won the game on a walk-off two-run home run by Connor Hujsak in the bottom of the ninth inning.
