Tickets on sale for Soup Kitchen of Muncie's 30th anniversary gala

MUNCIE, Ind. — Tickets are on sale now for “Painting a Brighter Picture by Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope,” the Soup Kitchen of Muncie’s 30th Anniversary Gala, Saturday, April 20, at the Horizon Convention Center.

A press release said the event will offer "an evening of art-filled entertainment that will feature an art auction, an artfully curated menu, and a main attraction that involves interactive performances, including live 'sculptures,' live 'paintings,' and performances by Muncie Civic Theatre."

Businessman Fred Reese is spearheading the gala planning with help from Muncie’s art community.

"Help us celebrate three decades of serving Muncie’s most vulnerable people as we raise critical funds so we can continue those efforts for years to come," the release said. Tickets cost $75 a piece, and you can buy them at soupkitchenofmuncie.org
