Fatal Texas County crash for Rolla driver

TEXAS COUNTY, Mo. — A fatal Texas County crash claimed the life of a Rolla driver this past Monday. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, a 46-year-old Rolla man was driving a Jeep Cherokee on MO-17, nine miles west of Summersville, at 7:54 p.m. on Nov. 2. His vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, he overcorrected, returned to the road, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree. He was pronounced deceased at the scene and taken to the Texas County Sheriff’s Office Morgue.
