Louisville police search for man accused of breaking in, raping elderly woman
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Police are searching for the man accused of raping an elderly woman inside her home in the Hurstbourne Acres neighborhood on Wednesday. The woman told police that around 2:30 p.m., she heard a knock on her front door. When she answered the door, police said the man knocked her down and raped her. He also stole some of the woman’s belongings before he left.
Man charged with murder called a "hero" by bystanders on social media
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Multiple shots took the life of a man in a parking lot on Taylor Boulevard. Police arrested a suspect at the scene, 21-year-old Raymond Holmes. He was charged with murder and accepting stolen property, but in a social media post from the scene, you can hear bystanders calling him a “hero.”

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Police are working to find more information on what led to the death of a man found shot in the Portland neighborhood Wednesday morning. The man was found in the 1600 Block of Nelligan Avenue around 10:15 a.m. John Bradley with the Louisville Metro Police Department said the man had been shot multiple times.
