They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Rockford Auburn Knights on Friday. For Belvidere North, this counts as revenge for the 6-4 defeat Rockford Auburn walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April.

Dragons High School showcase continues Friday
DAYTON, OHIO (WKEF/WRGT) - With the Dayton Dragons on the road this week at Lake County, Day Air Ballpark has been hosting multiple area high school baseball teams. The 2024 Dayton Dragons High School Baseball Showcase actually started on April 24, but this week saw two games each on Wednesday, Friday, and two more planned for Saturday.
Project Lead The Way honors Rockford school for STEM curriculum
The Gifted Academy at Thurgood Marshall School has been recognized as a 2023-2024 Project Lead The Way Distinguished School. The honor is given to a select number of middle schools across the country that utilize the Project Lead The Way Gateway, a grade 6-8 STEM curriculum focusing on science, technology, engineering and math.
