Fatal officer-involved crash on N.J. highway under investigation, AG says
The Attorney General’s Office announced an investigation into a fatal crash in Sussex County on Monday that involved an on-duty police officer. Authorities said the preliminary investigation found the crash involved an on-duty Franklin Borough police officer driving a department vehicle that hit another car around 10:41 a.m. Monday, May 27, at Route 23 and Walsh Road in Franklin.

Hudson Valley Manufacturing Plant Laying Off 88 New York Workers
A Hudson Valley manufacturing plant that just expanded its production line in 2019 is now cutting a third of its workforce. Hundreds of local workers have already found themselves out of work this year thanks to several layoff announcements. In February, Urnex announced that it would be eliminating 84 jobs and relocating its plant in Elmsford. Later that month, another 100 workers were laid off by Zena Delivery & Logistics in New Windsor after the Amazon partner failed to secure insurance.
