    BODYCAM VIDEO | Grant County Sheriff's Office releases bodycam footage from a shooting Saturday

    GRANT CO., Wash. -- Bodycam footage of the shooting at a Motel 6 in Grant County that ended with two shot, including a Moses Lake Police officer, has been released.

    In a Facebook post from the Grant County Sheriff's Office Friday shows bodycam and vehicle dashcam video from the shooting and the events that led up to it.

    According to investigators, detectives gathered video surveillance from Motel 6 and other businesses to help show the order of events. Detectives and Washington State Patrol Crime Scene Response Team also spent hours investigating the scene and gathering evidence.

    Investigators said detectives are actively looking through evidence and reviewing the footage received. Suspects and witnesses have also been interviewed for more insight on the shooting.

    In the Facebook post, there is a warning that the footage may be difficult to watch and contains strong language.

    Detectives said there will be a second update on May 17. The Central Basin Investigative Team is investigating this case.
