Special Report: The Roommate's Promise

The murders of four University of Idaho students haunted a community and shocked a nation. Since November 2022, we've heard the names Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle and Madison Mogen. The girls lived in the home together on King Road and were living the ultimate college life. Ethan was just spending the night with his girlfriend when someone came in and stabbed them all to death.

Now, we're hearing from a young woman who lived in that King Road house, too, just months before. She's sharing the story of that house, her friends and the final text message she sent before she knew the horrors of what had taken place.

On 4 News Now, she's sharing her story on TV for the first time. What haunts her - and, how she's using her life now as a promise to those victims.
