Templeton High School Athlete of the Week
William Wallace, a sophomore distance runner for the Eagles stands out in so many ways on and off the track. As lead in the school musical, Mamma Mia, he has to carve out time that cuts into track practice. William, ever the leader off the stage, has initiated morning workouts and after school strength sessions that allow for he and his fellow cast/teammates to thrive both in running and acting. He recently has also broken through with Top 20 all time marks in the 3200 (9th) & 1600 (17th) at THS. His teammates all get very excited about his accomplishments because he is known as a very hard worker, joyous teammate, and major encourager amongst the group. – Templeton High School Coach Jimmy Bean.
