Morris County Softball Tournament: Morristown Eliminated From MCT After Falling to Parsippany

MORRISTOWN, NJ - No. 13 seed Morristown fell to No. 20 seed Parsippany in the First Round of the Morris County Tournament on Friday afternoon. The Colonials were eliminated from the tournament after suffering a 15-`14 heartbreaking loss.

Jordan Ford was on the mound for Morristown. Ford pitched a complete game allowing 15 runs on 15 hits.

Ella Watson hit a triple for Morristown and crossed the plate twice. Taylor Donnelly, Caroline Morhardt, Alexandra Barrett, Jenna Manahan and Ford all scored twice.

Spfia McBride and Arianna Zajac each scored three runs on the day.

Parsippany will advance to face No. 4 Hanover Park on Monday April 29.

The semifinals will be played on Wednesday, May 8 with the finals taking place on Saturday, May 11.
