Ferris State football continues to be history-makers. In steamrolling Wayne State, 80-0, on Saturday, Nov. 7, Ferris State won its 40th consecutive game, matching the all-time record for Division II. Ferris State now shares the Division II record with rival Grand Valley State, which won 40 straight from 2005-07. The Bulldogs haven't lost a game since the 2024 season opener. They've won the last two Division national championships and four of the last five. And, at 10-0 this year, they are the favorites to win another one in 2026. "I'm proud of our guys for the way they came out and performed today," Ferris State head coach Tony Annesse said Saturday, following the win at Tom Adams Field in Detroit. "To think about what these guys have accomplished is pretty extraordinary and they are deserving of the recognition.
