MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — After 10 years in Morgantown, a famous area restaurant announced that it is opening not one, but two new restaurants in Berkeley County.

Apple Annie’s announced Thursday that it plans to open a full-service restaurant and bakery in Spring Mills as well as a smaller “Cookie Bakery” in Martinsburg. Apple Annie’s currently has locations in Morgantown and White Hall in north central West Virginia.

“For those that may not know, one of the owners of Apple Annie’s was a teacher over in Berkeley County, WV at Musselman High School for 8 years…it has been 10 years in the process, but Apple Annie’s is finally heading to the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post .

The post said that Annie’s Martinsburg Cookie Bakery is the first step in the expansion and will open this summer. From there, the business will continue to expand with the third full-service restaurant location opening in late spring/early summer 2025.
