Police: Woman cited for assault at treatment center
Allenwood, Pa. — A 40-year-old woman was cited for allegedly pushing and shoving another woman at a treatment facility in Union County. Holly L. Streeter, of Homestead, was White Deer Run of Allenwood treatment center on May 12 when she got into a verbal altercation with a 48-year-old woman of Depew, N.Y. Trp. Matthew Lesher of state police at Milton says Streeter pushed and punched the female accuser in the head and face. Police cited Streeter with harassment through the office of District Judge Jeffrey Mensch in Mifflinburg. Docket Sheet

Driver accused of driving drunk during rollover that killed Wilkinsburg woman
CHURCHILL, Pa. — The driver involved in a rollover crash that killed a 62-year-old woman in Churchill has turned herself into authorities. On April 30, 2023, authorities were called to a crash on Beulah Road. When they arrived, police found a heavily damaged car on its passenger side. Officials say debris and items from the car were left scattered around it.

Beaver Falls man dies in North Versailles Twp. motorcycle crash
NORTH VERSAILLES TWP. ― A Beaver Falls motorcyclist died Sunday evening after colliding with a van in Allegheny County. According to Allegheny County police investigators, 27-year-old Darien Clark was riding his motorcycle in North Versailles Township when he crashed with a van near the intersection of Clyde Avenue and Route 30 around 9:30 p.m. First responders rushed Clark to a local hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after 10 p.m. due to the injuries sustained in the accident.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's just about closing time for Spork Pitt BBQ on Pittsburgh's South Side.The restaurant is located along East Carson Street and will be closing its doors tomorrow, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.It was a short stint for the South Side restaurant that opened early last year after taking over for Double Wide Grill, which operated out of the spot for 18 years.Steve Zumoff owns the property and said that he is working to find a new barbecue restaurant to become a tenant after Spork BBQ closes.It's unclear how soon a new tenant might take over the space.
