Schuyler Storm standout voted Athlete of Week; help pick this week's winner
A .692 batting average over four games helped Alex Holmes of the the Watkins Glen/Odessa-Montour baseball earn Athlete of the Week honors for the week ending April 27. Holmes went 9-for-13 with a triple, double, 10 runs, nine stolen bases and four RBIs from April 21 to 27 to lead the team otherwise known as Schuyler Storm to a 3-1 record.

Softball Recap: St. Mary's has no trouble against Horseheads
St. Mary won against Mount Mercy Academy last Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The St. Mary's Lancers put the hurt on the Horseheads Blue Raiders with a sharp 11-1 win. The result was nothing new for St. Mary's, who have now won three games by ten runs or more so far this season.
