Man allegedly connected to multiple thefts in Bedias area arrested
BEDIAS, Texas — A man was arrested in connection to multiple alleged thefts in the Bedias area in Grimes County, according to the Precinct 1 Constable's Office. Authorities were able to arrest Andrew Payne Lambert after obtaining information on his alleged crimes in the area for multiple weeks. Officials also reported that most of the stolen items were returned to their rightful owners.

The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services Department hosted multiple Dog Walker Watch Yappy Hours throughout the month of April at various dog parks in The Woodlands. On Wednesday, April 24, from 5 to 6 p.m. the final Yappy Hour of April was held at Rob Fleming Dog Park, 6055 Creekside Forest Drive, where residents and dog enthusiasts had the opportunity to learn how to be the “extra eyes and ears” of law enforcement and about the Dog Walker Watch program. Scooter’s Coffee, located at two local locations at 26551 Kuykendahl Rd. and 24527 Gosling Rd., also was onsite and serve pup cups to their tail-wagging furry companions.
