Raccoon Tests Positives For Rabies: Hunterdon County Department Of Health
The raccoon was found in Clinton Township in the area of Andreann Drive and Hamden Road, health officials said. Anyone who have may have had contact with the raccoon between Tuesday, April 30 and Tuesday, May 14, should notify their primary care physician immediately or the Hunterdon Medical Center Emergency Room to discuss concerns of possible exposure and the need for post exposure prophylaxis treatment, health officials said. The Health Department HCHD is working with individuals who were exposed and they are seeking medical treatment to prevent rabies, they said.

Hillsborough residents facing municipal tax increase. Here's how much
HILLSBOROUGH – The Township Committee has introduced a $39.7 million budget that would raise the municipal use tax rate by less than 2%. The municipal use tax rate, which funds police, public works, recreation and other township services, will go up from 29.2 cents per $100 of assessed value to 29.77 cents.
South Brunswick police highlight 'Move Over' law after two patrol cars struck
SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Motorists are being warned to move over while police conduct vehicle stops, following two incidents in which township police SUVs were struck. “In the past three weeks, we have had two patrol officers SUVs struck while conducting motor vehicle stops," Chief Raymond Hayducka said. "We are lucky that in both cases no officers were injured, but one police car was totaled."
