Flood dangers rise as storms dump more rain on Alabama
A wet weather pattern is expected to dump several inches of rain over Alabama through Tuesday, which could cause widespread flash flooding. The National Weather Service office in Birmingham is forecasting 1 to 1-and-a-half inches for Tuscaloosa and Gadsden, 2 to 4 inches for the Montgomery area and 3 to 5 inches for a large portion of Southwest Alabama from Camden south and west.
