Montgomery police are investigating a Wednesday afternoon shooting that left one 16-year-old dead and another 16-year-old wounded. Juvenile charged in Friday morning death of 79-year-old in Montgomery
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early Friday morning homicide in which a juvenile has been arrested. At about 2:30 a.m., deputies went to a house in the 6000 block of West Hickory Grove Road on a report of a shooting, said Capt. Randy Pollard, who heads the office’s investigations division. MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - This week, three men from Montgomery were sentenced for possessing a firearm that had been converted to fully automatic. Deandre Nyquan Lucas, Cammeron Leroy Youngblood, and Derrick Dontrell Taylor were all sentenced in unrelated cases for being in possession of semi-automatic firearms that had been converted to fully automatic with the conversion device commonly known as a “switch” or “auto sear.”
