Montgomery man dies in boulevard car crash

A fatal traffic accident in Montgomery has left one person dead.

On Monday at about 12:47 a.m., police and fire medics responded to the 2400 block of East South Boulevard after a two-vehicle collision, said Maj. Saba Coleman, spokeswoman for the Montgomery Police Department. At the scene they found 35-year-old Dana Hand of Montgomery with fatal injuries, and he was pronounced dead, Coleman said. Hand was driving a 2016 Nissan Versa.

No other injuries were immediately reported by police.

The investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing, and no further information is available for release at this time, Coleman said.
