Chargers Have Strong Showing at Penn Relays
PHILADELPHIA, PA - For the first time in a decade, the Spotswood High School track and field program sent teams to the prestigious Penn Relays. Spotswood's Kayla Louis, Theodora Xipolias, Janiyre Amegor, Teagan Jones, Cooper Ciak, Tristian Obriski, Nicholas Creighton, Kieran Barlow, Tyler Andre, Ghanashyma Craig and Christopher Velez all participated in the three-day event which took place April 25 through April 27. Middlesex County’s best were out at South Brunswick for this year’s Middlesex County Relays and the action did not disappoint. South Brunswick swept this year’s team titles. The boys scored 74 points to edge out Piscataway which had 64, while the girls were dominant, posting 100 points as East Brunswick took second place with 59.

ISELIN, NJ - John F. Kennedy Memorial High School stopped the Chargers' 11-game unbeaten streak on Saturday at the Swamp. On Monday, the Spotswood High School varsity baseball team evened the season series at one game apiece with a 3-0 shutout behind a one-hitter thrown by Carter Cumiskey. SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Ava Mormile continued her dominance on the mound on Wednesday. Mormile pitched a one-hitter and struck out 11 to help the Spotswood High School varsity softball team defeat Colonia High School 5-1 in a Greater Middlesex Conference White Division matchup.
