Explosion in Old Bridge, N.J.: 1 dead, 4 injured
Police are investigating an explosion in Old Bridge, New Jersey, that left a 73-year-old woman dead and four other people injured on Wednesday. The blast occurred around 11:30 a.m. at the Superior Signal Company on West Greystone Road and led to a hazardous materials response from several nearby towns, ABC7NY reported.
House Explosion Rocks South River and East Brunswick
SOUTH RIVER, NJ - There is a working house fire at 8 Continental Court, South River as of approximately 7:30 pm Thursday evening. A two and a half story house exploded and is leveled, says a report by Central Jersey Fire Buffs. Local residents in East Brunswick's neighborhoods close to South River have reported hearing a loud boom, some ground shaking, and many emergency vehicles headed to the location. The status of the occupants of the residence is unknown.
