BLOOMINGTON– On Monday, May 13, City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) crews connected 13 homes to a new drinking water main on Roundhill, between Shadow Grove and Rocky Cliff. Unless otherwise notified, those addresses continue to be under a precautionary Boil Water Advisory until 5 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Monroe County prosecutor makes decision in suspected city council election fraud case
Former Bloomington City Council candidate David Wolfe Bender will not face criminal charges after a police investigation into possible election fraud. “At this time, we do not believe that we can prove beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr. Bender committed any criminal offenses,” Chief Deputy Prosecutor Jeff Kehr said via email Friday.
