Dover Drive Closed to Through Traffic Between Broadway and Vassar for Water Main Replacement
Dover Drive will be closed to through traffic between South Broadway Boulevard and Vassar Drive for a water main replacement, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 3. Diehl Enterprises will install traffic control and remove pavement so the water main can be replaced. Residents will be provided access. Work is expected to last through the end of the year, weather permitting.

Salina commission to consider 2027 downtown Business Improvement District fees
The Salina City Commission will consider Ordinance No. 26-11300 on Monday, Nov. 9, levying Salina Business Improvement District No. 1 service fees for 2027. The BID Board and Salina Downtown Inc. have recommended no increase for 2027. Budgeted BID fees paid to SDI for 2027 are $130,000, the same as the 2026 budgeted amount.

A project to replace an aging water main in a Salina neighborhood begins this week. According to the City of Salina, beginning Tuesday Diehl Enterprises will install traffic control and close Dover Dr to thru traffic between S Broadway Blvd and Vassar Dr. Pavement will be removed to replace the water main.
