WILSON COUNTY, Kan. - (KOAM) - A Wilson County oil well owner says trains passing nearby help his wells produce oil, and he wants to turn an open field across the highway into a public park.
Formal charges are filed against a Kansas teen in a Sunday night shooting that left one man dead.
The Fredonia Yellowjackets closed out their season last Thursday with a 38-6 loss to the Galena Bulldogs, finishing the year with a 1-8 record under head coach Lucus Lanning. Fredonia entered the matchup hoping to secure its second win against a winless Galena squad, but the Bulldogs’ defense kept the Yellowjackets from consistently threatening.
