    Mobile Police make arrest in Prairie Avenue homicide

    MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Officials with the Mobile Police Department arrested 24-year-old Grant Lavarus Myles in connection with an April homicide on Prairie Avenue .

    Myles is accused of killing 26-year-old Jaylin Craig around 9:30 p.m. on April 23 in the 1600 block of Prairie Avenue.

    When officers arrived at the scene on April 23, they found Craig dead in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, according to a previous MPD release.

    Officers also found a male juvenile who had been shot in a second vehicle.

    He was taken to a local hospital for life-threatening injuries.
