Officials with the city say the $6 million construction project represented “a significant infrastructure upgrade supported by a partnership with the City of Mobile, the Mobile City Council, the Mobile County Commission, and the Mobile Area Water and Sewer System (MAWSS).”

“These enhancements have significantly improved roadway conditions for neighbors and motorists and will also help improve drainage through the stormwater system,” stated the release.
