One of Mobile’s most-beloved viral sensations gets revisited every St. Patrick’s Day. We are talking about the Crichton leprechaun, of course. For the uninitiated, back in 2006, crowds gathered on Le Cren Street near UMS-Wright in Mobile, with many claiming they could see a leprechaun in a tree. Numerous reported of leprechaun sightings resulted in a local TV station to go to the scene for a report.
