Mobile Police to conduct safety checkpoint Thursday March 21
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — Mobile Police will conduct a safety checkpoint this Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. The checkpoint will be in the area of Navco Road and McVay Drive. Checkpoints are conducted in an effort to promote public safety and to ensure that drivers are complying with state and local traffic laws. Citizens should be prepared to present their driver’s license, proof of insurance and a current vehicle tag registration to police officers.
Mobile PD charges two with murder of 52-year-old man
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Mobile police say they have charged two people with murder in the investigation of the death of a 52-year-old man. They say through the course of investigation, detectives identified Gilbert Pittman, 43, and Jessica Allen, 36, as the subjects involved in the investigation of the death of Rodney Tucker that occurred on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2024.
