Judge revokes bond of man charged with murder from 2021
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A judge revoked the bond of Latale Evans Jr., the suspect charged with the murder of Jaylun Cassino in 2021, after he violated the terms of his bond. Evans was arrested on drug trafficking charges in March and prosecutors allege he also had guns in his possession.
Mobile woman pleads guilty to Social Security fraud
MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A Mobile woman pleaded guilty Wednesday to defrauding the Social Security Administration. Cheryl Bradley admitted that she gave incorrect information about her martial history when she applied for disability benefits. The Social Security Administration discovered a discrepancy in information she provided last year when her husband applied for benefits. It was different from what Bradley had provided when she applied for disability benefits in 2007.
