UPDATE (6:25 p.m.): News 5 has learned more about a house fire on Anclote Court that required a full response from the Mobile Fire-Rescue Department.
Neighbor Glenn Andrews said he saw smoke coming from the Hillcrest Road area around 3:30 p.m.; when he arrived at the scene, one pumper arrived.
Fortunately, nobody was inside the home when the fire broke out, but three dogs were at the house and Andrews said he saw two dogs run off the back porch.
The third dog was in the kitchen; we don’t know its status at this time.
