UPDATE: Credit Union reports weekend Missoula incident was attempted robbery

UPDATE: 12:52 p.m. - March 25, 2024

We are learning additional information about an incident that happened on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at the Clearwater Credit Union on North Reserve Street.

Clearwater Credit Union officials tell MTN News that the incident was an attempted robbery, not a robbery, as initially reported by law enforcement.

Additionally, the suspect was not armed.

No injuries were reported at Clearwater Credit Union says staff responded according to their training.

The Missoula Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at Clearwater Credit Union in the 2600 block of North Reserve Street on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Employees described the suspect as being a woman in her 40s or 50s, who is 5' foot 7" inches tall with a slender build.

It is also reported that the suspect could have the first name Lisa.
