    64-year-old Minot woman taken to hospital after crash

    MINOT, ND ( KXNET ) — A 64-year-old woman from Minot was taken to the hospital for evaluation after a rollover crash on April 29.

    At approximately 2:20 PM, emergency personnel responded to 32nd Ave and 16th St SW intersection for a rollover crash.

    A 25-year-old Belcourt woman entered the intersection going east in a 2008 Chevy Malibu and struck a 64-year-old Minot woman traveling south on 16th St in a 2023 Volkswagen Jetta.

    The Jetta spun and landed on its roof after impact.

    The Minot Fire Department was able to safely remove the Minot woman from the upside-down vehicle; minor injuries were reported on the scene, but the 64-year-old woman was transported to Trinity for further evaluation.

    The Belcourt woman was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
