Five teams receive spots in Section 3 girls lacrosse tournaments
SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WWTI/WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) – Five teams in their respective Section 3 girls lacrosse brackets during Sunday’s reveal. In Class A, Rome Free Academy was the only team to make the tournament. Just like their counterparts in softball, they will be playing Syracuse City in an opening game. The winner will play Cicero-North Syracuse on Thursday, May 23 at Central Square High School.

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse football has hired Ryan Kelly as its new senior associate athletic director for football operations, a team spokesman told syracuse.com. Syracuse basketball recruiting: Updating the Orange’s top targets in 2025 class
Syracuse, N.Y. ― College basketball recruiting began to heat up this past weekend with major AAU events in Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Bryan, Texas. The full calendar of events gave college coaches a chance to get out and see recruits play in person for the first time since the end of the 2023-24 season.
