Soup for You! Café, a free, donation-based eatery serving the Minneapolis community since 2015, will soon reopen in a new location.

Best known for nourishing homemade soups, salads and baked goods, the nonprofit organization will begin serving meals at its new location within Holy Trinity Luthern Church at 2730 East 31st Street on Monday, June 3.

Chef Judah Nataf, who was born in Tunis, orphaned at an early age and experienced childhood hunger and homelessness , founded Soup for You! Café in the Seward neighborhood's Bethany Lutheran Church nearly a decade ago.

The eatery closed this month ahead of the relocation.

In a news release, Nataf said the organization is honored to be welcomed into its new space at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

"Their commitment to caring for the community and promoting environmental and food justice resonates deeply with our values at Soup for You! Café," Nataf shared. "We look forward to continuing our mission of nourishing the community in this new setting."
