Anthony Edwards Trolls Nuggets Star With Bold Claim Following Game 7

Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves are heading to the Western Conference Finals after defeating the defending champion Denver Nuggets in Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs second round.

After falling behind by 20 points in the first half, the Timberwolves, led by Edwards, stormed back to stun Denver 98-90. Edwards recorded 16 points on 6 of 24 shooting and 2 of 10 from three, eight rebounds, and seven assists in the win. It wasn't his box score that stood out, but his defense on Jamal Murray. At least that's what Edwards thinks.

After the game, Edwards was caught on camera trolling Murray with viral comments.

"I had Jamal in handcuffs," Edwards said.

The Timberwolves will face the Dallas Mavericks in Game 1 of the West Finals on Wednesday, May 22nd.
