Patrick Beverley Believes This Duo Is The Modern Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen

Milwaukee Bucks guard and former Minnesota Timberwolves vet Patrick Beverley sees big things in the partnership of Anthony Edwards and Jaden McDaniels. In fact, he went as far as to saying that they are the modern version of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen.

Beverley shared his take on X (formerly Twitter) following the Timberwolves' Game 7 win over the Denver Nuggets . He wrote, "MJ+Pippen =Ant+Jaden."

Anthony Edwards only had 16 points in the contest, but nine of those came in the crucial third quarter that saw Minnesota cut a 20-point deficit to just one heading to the final period.

Meanwhile, Jaden McDaniels was sensational as he dropped 23 points on top of six rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block. Karl-Anthony Towns, Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley stepped up as well, though there's no denying that their two youngsters really shined bright in the game.

However, it might be too early  for Patrick Beverley and anyone else to say that Edwards and McDaniels are the next Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. If they do win a championship, though, then there could be a conversation about that.
