The 2024 Minnesota Vikings schedule release is nearly upon us and the NFL season, itself, is not as far away as you might believe. We are getting a heavy reminder of that this week, as the NFL prepares to release its 2024 schedule to the masses this evening at 7 p.m. CT.

    2024 Minnesota Vikings schedule leaked?

But if you believe the leaks that have come out and been aggregated by sites like Sports Illustrated , Vikings Territory and our friends over at The Purple Persuasion , who have all landed on a very similar final (unofficial) schedule, based on a variety of leaks and other sources.

    1. @ New York Giants
    2. San Francisco 49ers
    3. Houston Texans
    4. @ Green Bay Packers
    5. New York Jets (London)
    6. Bye
    7. Detroit Lions
    8. @ Los Angeles Rams — Thursday Night Football
    9. Indianapolis Colts
    10. @ Jacksonville Jaguars
    11. @ Tennessee Titans
    12. @ Chicago Bears
    13. Arizona Cardinals
    14. Atlanta Falcons
    15. Chicago Bears — Monday Night Football
    16. @ Seattle Seahawks
    17. Green Bay Packers
    18. @ Detroit Lions

Weeks five and eight have both been confirmed via announcements from the NFL. Matt Verderame ‘s list of leaks at Sports Illustrated has all the same matchups as what is seen above, except for weeks 3, 6, 9, 12 and 13, which he currently has blank.

If the schedule does come out in this order, the early part of the season could prove very difficult, outside of the New York Giants, which won’t necessarily be a cakewalk either.

But going from San Francisco to Houston to Green Bay from weeks two through five, then it’s off to London, before a bye, then Detroit, then the Rams. Of course, every year is a new year and what looks like a difficult schedule now, might look completely different after games start to get played.
