Paul Pierce's Straightforward Take on Anthony Edwards Following Timberwolves' Game 1 Win

Anthony Edwards took the basketball world by storm on Saturday night during the Timberwolves' 106-99 Game 1 victory over the Denver Nuggets. He scored 43 points in the win.

After Minnesota's Game 1 win, NBA legend Paul Pierce took to social media with a straightforward take about the 22-year-old superstar.

Pierce admitted he can't quite explain what's happening in regards to Edwards' rise to fame, but he likes what he's seeing from the youngster.

"I’m not sure what’s developing with this kid Anthony Edwards I just know Im liking it," Pierce said on X .

Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves proved they have what it takes to win a few games vs. Denver, but can they win an entire series?
