Charles Barkley Issues Warning to NBA After Anthony Edwards' Historic Playoff Performance

Anthony Edwards put on a show in the Timberwolves' Game 1 performance vs. the Denver Nuggets. He finished with 43 points in Minnesota's 106-99 NBA postseason win.

Edwards now has back-to-back 40-plus-point games in an NBA Playoff game. The last player, at least 22 years or younger, to do that? None other than the late Kobe Bryant.

There's not much of a debate anymore: Anthony Edwards might be the best basketball player on the planet at the moment.

Following Edwards' historic performance, Charles Barkley issued a warning to the rest of the NBA. In short, the league should be scared.

"Everybody saw [Anthony Edwards]. Ain’t no suspicion," Barkley said. "Ant-Man is here to stay!”

The rest of the NBA should be very scared about the rise of Anthony Edwards. If he really is the next Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant, then he has multiple NBA titles in his future.

Edwards' 43 points helped the Timberwolves beat the Nuggets 106-99 in Game 1. Can he do it again in Game 2?
