Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch suffered an improbable injury in the team's Game 4 victory over the Phoenix Suns.

The injury report is usually reserved for players, but a rare sighting has Minnesota's coach sidelined. Luckily the Timberwolves don't need Finch to lace up and get on the hardwood, but it's a distraction to a team that's on a roll.

It was a very sccesful night for the Timberwolves, aside from this mishap.

Following the game, NBA insider Shams Charania reported that Finch is feared to have suffered a torn patellar tendon in his knee. This a brutal injury that may cause nagging pain for Finch, but his ability is unknown.

There will be continued updates on Finch's injury, but he'll have ample time to rest.

The Timberwolves are awaiting the winner of the Denver Nuggets versus Los Angeles Lakers series.

Denver currently leads the series 3-1, meaning they'll be the likely opponent for Minnesota.
