HASTINGS — Two Grand Island residents died in a pickup-car crash Thursday in Hastings. The Hastings Police Department said the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 600 block of North Burlington Avenue. Natividad Zuniga, 61, and Graciano Nava Zuniga, 45, both of Grand Island, died at the scene.

HASTINGS, Neb. — A Hastings man faces multiple charges after two searches located packages containing large quantities of meth and cocaine. Francisco Ramirez Velazquez, 19, is charged in Adams County Court with alleged possession of more than 140 grams of meth, possession of 140 grams or more of cocaine and possession of drug money.

Some of the sessions were targeted to professionals, while others were for brain injury survivors and caregivers. According to Hastings Police, the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. when two vehicles were driving north in the 600 block of North Burlington Avenue. Buffalo County sets new distancing requirements for possible wind farms
KEARNEY, Neb. — Energy companies will have to meet a new set of requirements if interested in building a wind farm in Buffalo County. The Buffalo County Commissioners voted unanimously last week to approve distancing rules that were recommended by the planning commission.
