Media members slam Patrick Beverley for refusing to speak to ESPN reporter because she wasn't subscribed to his podcast

Following the Milwaukee Bucks' series-ending defeat against the Indiana Pacers in Game 6, Patrick Beverley caused a stir not once but twice on Wednesday night. His latest incident involved disrespecting ESPN reporter Malinda Adams, whom Beverley called out during the post-game press conference for not being subscribed to the "Pat Bev Podcast."

Bev had no right to do that

This obviously didn't look good for Beverley, who also had a prior incident with a Pacers fan sitting courtside. Pat hurled the ball into the crowd, hitting one person in the head. After a short exchange, he flung the ball back at the fans with increased aggression. The 35-year-old point guard finished the game with six points, two rebounds, and five assists while shooting 3-for-11 from the floor..

As someone with previous records of suspension and fines, the veteran will most likely be slapped with one in the coming days. What he did to the female Pacers fan and Adams led to many disappointed reactions from the media members.

    Beverley's response

What's more disappointing about the incidents is that he didn't take accountability for them. As soon as both videos surfaced on the internet, "Mr. 94 Feet," as he calls himself, acknowledged that he got involved with a fan courtside but didn't apologize. In fact, Patrick doubled down and explained what the courtside fan was doing to the Bucks bench all night.

It's fair for Beverley to be frustrated about his season being over, but that shouldn't excuse his actions toward other people. Pat often gets praised for being a nosy, hard-nosed, gritty, glue guy who gives it all on the court, but the same energy must be given to him when he has moments like this, which happen more often than not.

The Indiana Pacers beat the Giannis Antetokounmpo-less Bucks 120-98 to advance to the second round of the playoffs. Still, Milwaukee's loss was overshadowed by Patrick's antics, who, according to many, showed his true character last night.
